Collective Economic Development

The Collective Economic Development, including Gaming, Cannabis and Hemp Secretariat will develop and implement opportunities with non-profit and for-profit entities to carry our economic activities within Treaty 2 Territory. This will be achieved by working with all levels of the private and public sectors.

We will create the entities that the private and public sectors can make economic agreements with and start implementing the agreements that will create opportunities for FNiT2T (First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory).

The Nation is seeking economic development which raises the conditions of our economic wellbeing. We work with our Nations in coordinating our own initiatives and energies.  We seek opportunity to create entities and opportunities to work together in this regard.

Private sector entities continue to extract resources in Treaty 2 Territory with out the consent of FNiT2T and the Treaty 2 Government.

We create economic agreements and arrangements that provide financial incentives to Treaty 2 Government and FNiT2T for the resources that they are extracting.
