Lake Manitoba First Nation located in Treaty 2 territory has launched its very own community radio station. “It is a way for Chief & Council to reach out and communicate to members, to keep them informed on what is happening in the community. Its something to be proud of” Chief McLean stated. The Dog Creek radio station has been in the talk for several months. “The radio station is a huge accomplishment for Lake Manitoba First Nation. As leadership, we used our own source revenue to get the radio station operational. The community members wanted this service and I’m glad we are able to make this reality” said Councillor Swan.
Congratulations to Lake Manitoba First Nation. Be sure to tune into Dog Creek Radio 106.7 FM.
