Grand Opening-Dauphin River First Nation School

Dauphin River First Nation, Treaty 2 – Treaty 2 officials will be joining Chief John Stagg and Dauphin River First Nation at their grand opening of their new School. The Treaty 2 flag will also be raised on Monday.
Dauphin River along with 8 other First Nations made Treaty No. 2 in 1871. Dauphin River is an Ojibway First Nation and is located at the outlet of the Dauphin River and into Lake Winnipeg. Dauphin River is popular for fishing and its natural resources.
The community of Dauphin River was flooded in 2011 and since now have returned home to their home community. Everyone is invited to attend their grand opening of the Dauphin River First Nation School.
